1 pkg. Brownie mix
4 (8oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour cream
3 eggs
2 squares semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted & slightly cooled
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 13x9 inch pan wit foil, extending the foil about 2 inches on either side. Grease or spray the foil. Prepare the brownie mix according to the directions on the box. Pour the brownie mix into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 15 mins. or until the top is shiny and the center is almost set. Meanwhile, beat the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl until it is well blended. Add the sour cream, mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed, until blended. Pour this cream cheese mixture on top of the partically baked brownie. The filling should almost come to the top of the pan. bake for 40 mins. or until the center is almost set. Run a knife along the edge of the pan to loosen. Cool. Refridgerate for 4 hours or overnight. Let stand at room temp. for 30 mins. prior to serving. Lift the dessert from the pan using the extended foil as handles. Drizzle with melted chocolate and let stand until chocolate is firm. Cut into bars.
